Fostering is a highly rewarding experience that benefits homeless animals and is fun for you and your family! As a foster parent, you are an invaluable part of the Loudon K9 Paws and Tails life-saving team.
We are always looking for people to foster animals that are waiting to find their forever home; the shelter is not a home
Some animals in need of fostering are simply too young for adoption, need extra love and socialization to become confident family pets, or have medical needs or recovering from a surgical procedure. There’s also a great need for fosters when the shelter is overcrowded. Fostering gives us the opportunity to provide these special animals with the love and care they need until they are ready to find their forever homes.
Loudon K9 Paws and Tails will cover the cost of food, vet care and training (if needed). You provide your time, home and love.
No problem. Please consider providing a donation to support other fosters who can. Your gracious donation can save a dog's life.
Lola and Beauty are very friendly girls! They are four and three years old and arrived to the shelter together. They are happy and love everyone they meet. Both are house-trained and walk well on leash. They are both in training programs. Beauty has excelled with a variety of commands and Lola is learning the same commands using signs. Lola has become very independent, so they are eligible to be fostered/adopted separately.
Can you be their foster family?
Your support through the foster program can make a difference in the lives of animals in need.

LOLA GOES ON AN ADVENTURE
Check out this great video of our volunteers, Janet and Michelle, taking Lola to UT's Audiologly department for a hearing test.
She relished all the attention and could have stayed all day. Lola and the students were wonderful!
